In 2014 Amy became apprenticed to Rupert Noble where she learned woodwind repair, with a hands-on approach, under his expert instruction in a busy workshop. Since then she has worked full time for Rupert, held the position of in-store technician for Hobgoblin Music Brighton, and accumulated a steadily growing private customer base. She currently has her workshop based in Leith.

Amy holds a degree in music performance from the University of Chichester. She has many years’ experience working in and around the music industry, playing flute and saxophone in various set ups from chamber orchestras to ska bands. She has toured the UK and played countless festivals including Isle of Wight and Boomtown. These days Amy wields her experience from the workbench, offering a reliable and informed service to support the instruments and the music making of her customers.
